You're in for a treat with this Low FODMAP Sweet Potato Protein Bars Recipe!
A healthy, easy, and insanely delicious low FODMAP snack for the Holidays that your whole family will love!
INGREDIENTS:
To make our Low FODMAP Sweet Potato Protein Bars Recipe, you will need the following:
- 1 large cooked sweet potato
- 1/2 cup Low FODMAP Vanilla Protein Powder by Casa de Sante or Low FODMAP Vegan Protein Powder
- 1 tbsp maple syrup (or rice syrup)
- 1 tbsp gluten free oat flour or almond flour
- 1 tbsp golden flaxseed (aka linseed)
- 2 tbsps lactose free milk (or plant based milk)
- 1/2 bar dark chocolate (i.e. 50g)
DIRECTIONS:
To make our Low FODMAP Sweet Potato Protein Bars Recipe, follow these steps:
- Blend all the above ingredients together (except for the chocolate) and mold the mix into four little bars.
- Melt your chocolate in a bain marie (i.e. a glass bowl on top of a pot of boil- ing water).
- Once melted, dip your bars in there until they’re fully coated, transfer them to the freezer for an hour or the fridge overnight and voila! Delicious Sweet Potato Protein Bars!
NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Per bar: 191.72 cal, 16.2g protein, 15.5g carbs (out of which 3.2g is fiber!) and 7g fat
