LemonAID is a new delicious FODMAP Friendly Certified Ayurvedic Digestive Drink full of both flavor and function. It is a stomach soother for digestive sensitivities developed by a physician scientist. It is an all natural potent blend of powerful fruits, herbs, spices and traditional medicines with no alcohol, no caffeine, 70 calories, no additives or preservatives, vegan, gluten free and FODMAPs friendly. LemonAID is inspired by the healing drinks of Jamu and Ayurveda, the ancient healing arts of Asia. The powerful traditional medicinals in LemonAID have been used for thousands of years and shown in clinical trials to combat nausea, abdominal pain, excess gas, bloating, diarrhea and constipation in people with digestive sensitivities. This vibrant naturally energizing blend comes in 2 flavors, original and cayenne.
LemonAID is a refreshing alternative to soda or tea traditionally drunk before or after meals to aid digestion. LemonAID is a great non alcoholic digestif or aperitif and tastes great any time of the day as well. Enjoy a 4oz serving of LemonAID straight, chilled or hot, or use as a mixer with your favorite drink or smoothie.
Read a review by Michelle:
" I tried their LemonAID and I was impressed. The day I decided to pop open the bottle I was bloated and experiencing bit of acid reflux (not unusual for me). My acid reflux was calmed when I finished 1 full cup of LemonAID. I noticed that my bloating decreased about 20 minutes after drinking LemonAID.
So what gives here? What about this concoction helped me? It turns out that the ingredients used in LemonAID are a blend of soothing herbs and fruits.
Lemon: Cleansing to the body and digestive system.
Turmeric: contains bioactive curcumin, with natural inflammatory properties.
Mint: Reduces nausea, bloating, gas and indigestion.
Fennel: Promotes digestion and has natural anti-inflammatory properties.
Ginger: Anti-inflammatory and soothing digestive aid.
Cinnamon: relieves nausea and vomiting.
Tamarind: Eases stomach discomfort, bloating and aids digestion.
Despite having ingredients like turmeric and tamarind the mild lemonAID has a mellow and soothing taste. I would say that the mint, lemon and ginger are the most prominent tastes.
I have noticed a few blogs and Pinterest posts lately showing homemade recipes for digestive teas that claim to help with bloating. I think these can be useful but I know that when I am in the throes of a flare up or dealing with extreme bloating I am unlikely to spend 30 minutes chopping ginger, boiling leaves and brewing homemade tea."
In addition to digestive support and wellness, the potent infusion of powerful botanicals in LemonAID supplies the synergistic cleansing, antioxidant, inflammatory, digestive and immune support benefits of lemon juice, turmeric, mint, cilantro, ginger, tamarind, fennel seeds, nutmeg, caraway, cinnamon and cayenne pepper (cayenne flavor only) in a delicious ready to drink format.
