Cooking Instructions
1. Cook 1 cup rice according to package instructions.
2. To make the marinade, combine 2 Tbsp fish sauce, 1 Tbsp soy sauce, 1 Tbsp brown sugar, and 3 cloves of minced garlic in a dish. Add ½ lb sliced beef to the marinade and let sit for 10 minutes, or overnight.
3. In a skillet over medium heat, add 3 Tbsp oil and ½ sliced onion, ½ sliced red bell pepper, and 1 sliced Thai chili and cook until tender, about 3 minutes.
4. Pour the steak and marinade into the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes.
5. Turn off the heat and add 1 cup of Thai basil, letting it wilt into the beef mixture. Season to taste with salt and lime juice.
6. Divide rice into 2 bowls, spoon the beef stir fry on top, and serve with lime wedges on the side.
