Low FODMAP Instant Pot® Lemon Cilantro Rice: A Delicious, Healthy Recipe
1 cup long-grain brown rice, washed thoroughly
11/4 cup low FODMAP chicken or veggie broth
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon. Casa de Sante low FODMAP certified Lemon Herb Seasoning
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves
Sea salt and black pepper, as needed
Stir the rice and broth together in the Instant Pot® container. Cover the Instant Pot with the lid and lock it. Select the "Manual" and "High Pressure" options and set the valve to "Sealing." Cooking time should be reduced set to 22 minutes.
After the cooking time is up, let the pressure naturally relax for 10 minutes before using a fast release to relieve any remaining pressure.
Remove the cover and mix in the cilantro, lemon juice, and Casa de Sante low FODMAP certified Lemon Herb Seasoning. Season to taste with salt and black pepper and stir to blend mix. Allow flavors to mingle for a few minutes before serving if preferred. Enjoy alone or as a side dish!
