By Jody Garlick, RD, LDN

Serves 8-10

1 stick unsalted butter

Juice of 1 lemon

1 tablespoon Casa de santé Lemon Herb Seasoning

1 turkey (10-12 pounds)

Salt

Black pepper

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt unsalted butter. Add the lemon juice and Casa de santé Lemon Herb Seasoning. Set aside. Remove the giblets from the turkey and place turkey in a large roasting pan. Season the turkey with salt and pepper. Brush the outside of the turkey with the butter mixture. Roast the turkey for about 2 ½ hours or until an instant-read thermometer in the thickest part of the breast reads 165 degrees. Remove the turkey from the oven and place it on a platter or cutting board covered with aluminum foil to rest for 20 minutes. Slice the turkey and serve.
