From your meal kit

1 lb Ground Beef
3 Tsp Ginger
3 Tbsp Oyster Sauce
½ Tbsp Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
½ Tbsp Honey

From your pantry

½ Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Tsp Hot Sauce

 

Cooking Instructions:

1. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 lb beef and break into smaller pieces. Season with salt and pepper to taste.  When the beef is no longer pink, transfer it to a bowl or plate and set aside.

2. Using the same skillet, add the 2 cloves of minced garlic and 3 tsp diced ginger and cook for 4 minutes.  Return the meat to the pan.

3. Add 2 Tbsp of oyster sauce and ½ Tbsp soy sauce to the mixture; cook for 3 minutes.

4. In a small bowl, combine 1 Tbsp oyster sauce, 1 Tbsp sesame oil, and 1 Tbsp honey.

5. Assemble the lettuce cups by spreading a bit of the oyster sauce and sesame oil mix down the center of a romaine leaf.  You'll use 4-8 lettuce cups.

6. Carefully spoon the meat mixture into each lettuce leaf.  Top with sliced green onion and hot sauce if desired.  Plate 2-3 lettuce wraps per plate.
