  • Prebiotic: PreforPro® 15 mg per serving, a bacteriophage blend (LH01 Myoviridae, LL5 Siphoviridae, T4D Myoviridae, LL12 Myoviridae). It is not a fiber, so there is no inulin, chicory root or FOS to ferment.
  • Probiotics: 4.4 billion CFU per serving: DE111® Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus coagulans, Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium lactis.
  • Serving: 2 vegetable capsules, 30 servings per bottle (60 capsules). Label direction: take 2 capsules daily, preferably with meals.

What this product cannot do

What is the difference between this and a plain probiotic?

This is a synbiotic: it pairs 4.4 billion CFU of four probiotic strains with PreforPro, a bacteriophage prebiotic that supports beneficial bacteria without adding fermentable fiber. Our plain probiotic (GI Support, $22.99) has no added prebiotic.

Will the prebiotic make me bloated?

The prebiotic is PreforPro, a bacteriophage blend rather than a fiber, so it avoids the highly fermentable fibers (inulin, chicory root, FOS) that most often trigger gas in sensitive guts. Start with the lowest suggested serving and build up.

Is it suitable during the low-FODMAP elimination phase?

It is formulated to be FODMAP-conscious, but during a strict elimination phase introduce any supplement one at a time so you can attribute symptoms correctly.

How many capsules a day?
