If you're on a low FODMAP diet, you might not be able to enjoy regular ice cream due to the high lactose content. However, there are plenty of tasty alternatives, including lactose-free ice creams and coconut milk ice creams.

Jeni's makes vegan coconut frozen dessert varieties that are gluten-free, dairy-free, and low FODMAP. Jeni's coconut desserts are also thick and creamy due to the high fat content of coconuts. Although Monash University has not tested coconut milk ice creams, half a cup of coconut milk is low FODMAP. Therefore, half a cup of coconut ice cream is low FODMAP unless the coconut ice cream contains high FODMAP ingredients such as chicory.
